As you can see there are many grey squares. Before you start, you might want to decide how to display the element – in other words there’s some artistic licence. We only ask that you keep to the height and position of the letters and atomic number.

Also remember the 4 stitch border – here because of the ! it goes into the 4 stitch border but that’s ok…

So for example this is the above example edited:

So I’ve kept the main upright of the h to two stitches wide so it doesn’t overwhelm the A. I’ve also extended the ! upwards but that’s an artefact of this particular example!
